The Louisiana State Archives has established a new support group.  The Friends of the Louisiana State Archives will support the various outreach, research and conservation efforts of the Archives.  Click here for a membership postcard which can be filled out and mailed.

State Archives Works to Protect Essential Records - The Louisiana State Archives has been awarded a Certificate of Preparedness by the Council of State Archivists in recognition of its efforts to protect irreplaceable records—both those in its custody and those held by other repositories statewide—from natural disasters and other threats.
