SPRING STREET HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Shreveport
The Spring Street Historical Museum captures what Shreveport looked like after the Civil War. Its cast iron grillwork is the only surviving example of New Orleans-style architecture in the city. Today, the museum's collection depicts the development of northwest Louisiana since the 1800s including Indian artifacts, firearms, period clothing and military uniforms.
