Secretary of State Jay Dardenne is partnering with the East Carroll Parish School Board, the Friends of the Louisiana State Cotton Museum, Louisiana Farm Bureau, the Louisiana State University Agriculture Center Cooperative Extension Service, the Progressive Agriculture Foundation and the Southern University Cooperative Extension Service to present Ag Safety Day. The activities will be held on the grounds of the Louisiana State Cotton Museum on Wednesday, April 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Secretary of State Jay Dardenne held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Plantation Hall, a multipurpose meeting facility on the grounds of the Louisiana State Cotton Museum. Secretary Dardenne was joined by the area legislative delegation, town officials, governing board members and the Friends of the Louisiana State Cotton Museum in the first step toward the construction of the facility.
